We are looking for an IT Officer to join our Team in Ukraine. The IT Officer will provide day-to-day technical and operational IT support to ensure the smooth functioning of GRC’s IT infrastructure, systems, devices, and inventory management processes within Ukraine.

**Location:** Kyiv, Ukraine
**The Role**
**Technical Support & User Assistance**
- Provide first-line technical support to teams, responding to hardware, software, connectivity, and network-related issues.
- Provide in-person IT support and troubleshooting assistance to the entire Ukraine team within the Kyiv office, including resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and device-related issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems across operating systems and devices.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including laptop preparation, account setup, application configuration, and equipment allocation.
- Provide support for printers, peripherals, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, and remote collaboration tools.
- Provide IT support for virtual meetings, webinars, and hybrid events.
**IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration**
- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure including Microsoft 365, email systems, cloud platforms, file storage systems, and local office networks.
- Administer routine updates, upgrades, patches, and maintenance to systems and software to ensure security and operational reliability.
- Support implementation and maintenance of endpoint management systems, including Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, and others as needed.
- Assist in maintaining secure backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support organisational website and cloud-based systems where required.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of organisational IT systems and processes.
**Cybersecurity & Compliance Support**
- Support implementation of organisational cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure devices and systems comply with organisational security standards and policies.
- Support antivirus management, endpoint protection, access controls, and secure configuration practices.
- Escalate cybersecurity incidents, secure backup protocols, vulnerabilities, and risks to the IT Security Officer as appropriate.
- Support compliance with organisational information governance and data protection requirements.
**Inventory & Warehouse Management**
- Maintain and manage accurate inventory records for all GRC IT and operational assets in Ukraine.
- Oversee the organisation, tracking, storage, allocation, and maintenance of equipment within the Kyiv warehouse.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and asset audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of equipment issued to staff, consultants, and programmes.
- Coordinate procurement, repairs, replacements, and disposal of IT equipment in line with organisational procedures.
**Vendor & Operational Coordination**
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for technical support, procurement, and maintenance services.
- Test and evaluate hardware and software for potential integration into existing systems.
- Support office IT setup and operational requirements across programmes and field activities.
- Work closely with the IT Security Officer and IT & Systems Coordinator to ensure consistent implementation of organisational IT standards and procedures.
**Capacity Building & Team Support**
- Assist in user training and communicate system updates, IT procedures, and best practices effectively.
- Support teams in adopting secure and efficient digital working practices.

**Your Background**
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2.5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with the latest technology trends to ensure systems are maintained and up-to-date (Microsoft 365, MDM: Microsoft Intune, Apple Business
- Manager, JAMF Pro. Google Workspace, Office LAN:, Organisational website support).
- Extensive experience in solving hardware and software issues.
- Technical proficiency in IT systems and networks.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with critical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and can work well independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Ukrainian, both written & verbal.
