TDA works closely with Syrian civil society actors, policymakers, and international stakeholders to develop evidence-based policy recommendations that support inclusive and sustainable governance in Syria.

The AMTAD Consortium (Amal Organization & The Day After – TDA) is implementing the “Nabni – Building for Peace” project in **As-Suqaylabiyah Sub-district, Rural Hama**, Syria. The project includes community infrastructure and service interventions that must comply with donor environmental and social safeguards requirements.

**Objective / Purpose**

The purpose of this position is to recruit a qualified Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the implementation of the co-design phase activities under the Nabni – Building for Peace project. In addition to ensuring effective project management, coordination between consortium partners, timely implementation of activities, and integration of conflict-sensitive and community-driven approaches throughout the project lifecycle.

**Project Duration:**
**•** Contract Duration: **Short-term assignments between May/June 2026 till 15 September 2026, based on operational need.**
• Data collection activities will be scheduled according to project implementation timelines and field requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The Project Coordinator will oversee and coordinate project implementation activities in As-Suqaylabiyah Sub-district, Rural Hama. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinate the overall implementation of the co-design phase activities.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between TDA, Amal Organization, and Nabni representatives.
- Supervise project teams and monitor implementation progress.
- Support planning, scheduling, and delivery of field and research activities.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, safeguarding standards, and conflict-sensitive approaches.
- Monitor project risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
- Support preparation of narrative reports, work plans, and project documentation
- Facilitate coordination meetings, workshops, and consultation sessions.

Ensure integration of LPCA findings into project planning and implementation processes.

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Political Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong report-writing and analytical skills in English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with the Syrian context, particularly Rural Hama, is preferred.
- Ability to work within a team and under direct supervision.
- Willingness to travel within different governorates.
- High level of commitment, accuracy, and discipline.

**Supervision and Reporting Line**

- The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Programs / Senior Project Manager at TDA.
All reports, work plans, and project documentation must be submitted through the designated reporting and communication channels established by the AMTAD Consortium.

The selected candidate must comply with:

- Safeguarding, confidentiality, protection principles, and ethical standards.
- Respectful and inclusive engagement with communities, especially women, youth, minorities, and vulnerable groups.
- Policies and procedures of the AMTAD Consortium (Amal and TDA) and Nabni Facility requirements.
- Confidentiality of all collected information and project-related data.
